Josep Pep Guardiola Biography



Josep Pep Guardiola i Sala was born in January 18, 1971 in Santpedro, Barcelona, Spain. He is a former football player and then football Coach. He played as defense midfielder and spent most of his football live with Barcelona football Team.
He was a part of the dream team by Johan Cruyff who achieved first Europe League for Barcelona. He played also in Persia and Roma Team in Italy and then Al-Ahli in Qatar, Dorados de Sinaloa in Mexico. When he was in Italy, he had been stooped in playing for four month because he was accused for drugs abuse .Pep Guardiola as International player; he played for Catalonia and Spain.
He had spent starring football years as a football player who is considered of the best players in Barcelona history. When the legend had retired he received the training of the second team of Barcelona after the department of Johan Cruyff and he had been appointed for the first Team of Barcelona and he succeeded in raise the team to the third degree in La Lega after its landing.
In 07-08 season he led the second team of Barcelona to 28 victory, 9 equivalent, and lost 5 games.  Though under the leadership of Pep Guardiola, the second team of Barcelona did not lose any game on his pitch and he succeeded in developing its play way by the depending on the defense pressure and playing through the parties. So the second team players of Barcelona became more strong and flexibility and by enjoyed the spirit of teamwork.  The team could to change his plan from 3-4-3 into 4-3-3 easily if it took so.
Pep Guardiola is considered the 15s who received the training mission of the first team of Barcelona. He spent most of his football live as a player in Barcelona when he joined the Catalan club's youth in 1984. So after years in Barcelona he moved into the Italian League, and after that into Qatar and finally Mexico. He wore the shirt number 4 his entire career with Barcelona. He played 263 games and scored 6 goals, and he was representing the structured team at that time. Pep also played with Spain team 47 games and scored 5 goals.
