Bayern Munich Spanish coach Josep Guardiola expressed his
confidence in his team's ability to progress a step forward in his quest to
cross into the last 16 of
the Champions League when they visit the rival Roma
on Tuesday.
Guardiola said at a press conference held on the sidelines
of the meeting: "We have a great opportunity to provide a step forward in
order to achieve our goal to qualify for the round of 16."
Guardiola stressed during his speech that he expects fierce
competition from the rest of the teams in the group which is considered the
most powerful groups as the tournament include teams of the caliber of the
European continent such as Roma and Manchester City and CSKA Moscow.
Bayern lead Group C with six points and two points behind
Roma, who is going to run him again in Munich after two weeks, as comes Manchester
City, who faces CSKA Moscow on Wednesday in the third place with only one
point.
Guardiola expressed, who played for Roma earlier for a short
